Carrie Edge, M.A., LAPC, NCC

Carrie received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1998 from the University of Louisville and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023 from Liberty University.
Carrie has an eclectic background. She was formerly a nonprofit professional, certified personal trainer, and law enforcement officer and instructor. She has more than 5 years of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness through psychosocial rehabilitation and in a clinical setting. Carrie is also certified with the State of Georgia as a Certified Peer Support Specialist- Parent. With this certification she helps families navigate the system of care for their children. She has been under the supervision of Alice Williams since January 2023. Carrie is certified to see clients by telehealth and in person.
Carrie loves working with people at every age and stage of life. She specializes in Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has experience supporting those experiencing trauma, addiction, disordered eating, grief, marital/ family challenges, anxiety, and depression. She is also one of the only few therapists in the area who specializes in working with clients who have been diagnosed with Autism!

Mary Beth Housch, MS, LPC, NCC

Mary Beth received her BA in 2003, and her Master of Counseling degree in 2022 from Jacksonville State University.

Mary Beth was formerly a Special Education Teacher and has been a School Guidance Counselor in both elementary and middle schools since 2019. Mary Beth began working with Enlightening Streams in 2023 as an APC, and became fully licensed in 2026.

Mary Beth loves working with children, adolescents, and adults.She specializes in CBT and Trauma Focused Therapy. She has been working with survivors of Domestic Violence since 2023 and has much knowlege regarding the counseling skills needed to help these clients. MaryBeth has much compassion for her clients and guiding them through their own healing process
