​​Ashley earned a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from the University of West Georgia with a 4.0 GPA. In her graduate studies, she was a member of Chi Sigma Iota and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Ashford University and was a member Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society. Ashley is licensed in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor and also holds a license as a National Certified Counselor.  Ashley provides a safe, non-judgmental place for children, adolescents, and adults to explore themselves in order to gain a better understanding of their strengths, abilities, and goals. She has experience working with issues such as: anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, and difficulty adjusting to life transitions. Ashley’s goal as a therapist is to empower self-awareness and self-acceptance so that her client’s can create and sustain a life of balance and happiness.

Carrie received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1998 from the University of Louisville and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023 from Liberty University.  
Carrie has an eclectic background. She was formerly a nonprofit professional, certified personal trainer, and law enforcement officer and instructor. She has more than 5 years of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness through psychosocial rehabilitation and in a clinical setting. Carrie is also certified with the State of Georgia as a Certified Peer Support Specialist- Parent. With this certification she helps families navigate the system of

care for their children. She has been under the supervision of

Alice Williams since January 2023. Carrie is certified to see

clients by telehealth and in person.  
Carrie loves working with people at every age and stage of life.  She specializes in Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has experience supporting those experiencing trauma, addiction, disordered eating, grief, marital/ family challenges, anxiety, and depression.

Alice has been in private practice counseling since 2007. She has formerly been a middle grades teacher and School Guidance Counselor for 16 years in the PreK through 8th grade public school setting. 

She earned her BA in Psychology from Auburn University, MEd in School Counseling from the State University of West Georgia, 

EdS  in School Counseling from the University of  Alabama, and holds a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor Certificate since April, 2007. Alice also obtained her Alabama Licensed Professional Counselor Certificate in March, 2023, and sees clients in Alabama virtually and in person in Gulf Shores, AL. 


Alice’s specializes in treating children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of counseling fields.  Her other specialties include working with clients on  issues dealing with Post Traumatic Syndrome, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Divorce, Grief, Eating Disorders, and Self Esteem. She is also certified as a CPCS (Counseling Supervisor) and as an EMDR Therapist.  EMDR is a type of therapy which is very effective to help individuals overcome traumatic events. and attachment issues.  For more information regarding EMDR, please visit www.emdria.org
